Xtra Happy The 12" Synth may be a bit of a strange debut for the 'Osees' moniker, being, as its name implies, 40 minutes of psychedelic synth ambience ("Psych Ambient"? Is that a genre / thing?) and thusly featuring no guitar or drums at all, but I like it a fair bit. As a matter of fact, its one of my favourite Oh Sees albums period, partially since it works well as an album to go to sleep to.

It's weird and wonderful, and if both of those things aren't what this band does best then I don't know what is. Favorite track: Regards to the Monolith.
